1. What We Collect

  • Account Data: Name, email address, and hashed password.
  • Document Data: Documents uploaded for signature, recipient names, emails, and custom fields.
  • Signing Audit Records: Signer IP addresses, device user agents, audit timestamps, and signature images.
  • Third-Party Integrations: OAuth tokens and profile info when connecting Google Drive, Slack, or Google Sign-In.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected information to operate the CDocsSign platform: facilitating e-signatures, delivering notifications and reminders, storing completed envelopes, verifying authentic audit trails, and fulfilling legal requirements under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India). We do not sell or monetize your personal data.

3. Data Storage & Security

Passwords are cryptographically salted and hashed. Uploaded documents are stored securely with non-guessable identifiers, transmitted over TLS encrypted connections (HTTPS), and accessible only to authorized document owners and signers.

4. Retention & Deletion

Documents and audit trails are retained while your account remains active to preserve legal enforceability. Account holders can delete envelopes or request total account data erasure at any time by contacting support.

5. Signer Communications

Recipients of document signing requests are contacted exclusively regarding the document sent to them. Signer metadata (IP, time, email, signature) is stored strictly as part of the legally required certificate of completion.
